INBOXCABIN · LEGAL
Terms of Use
Referral rules are now part of these consolidated Terms. Jump to the referral program section.
Effective October 13, 2026 · Version 2026-10-13.2
These Terms govern the InboxCabin website, blog, Windows software, account portal, licensing service and optional referral program. The operator is Inbox Cabin (“InboxCabin,” “we,” “us”).
Read these Terms before accepting them or purchasing. If you do not agree, do not purchase or use the software. You must be legally able to enter this agreement; if acting for an organization, you must have authority to bind it. Our Privacy Policy explains data handling.
1. Your software license
We grant a limited, nonexclusive, nontransferable license for lawful personal or internal business use while your trial or purchased entitlement is valid. Each purchased license permits up to 5 activated computers and unlimited mailbox profiles, subject to your hardware and provider restrictions. You may release a computer through My account. Do not resell keys, share them publicly, sublicense the software, bypass trial or activation controls, or access accounts without permission. Applicable law and third-party open-source licenses retain any rights they grant.
2. Trial, plans and automatic renewal
The trial begins when the Windows app first successfully registers that device with our licensing service and lasts 30 days. No credit card is required and the trial does not automatically become a paid subscription. Reinstalling or downloading again does not restart the recorded trial. Device or Windows changes can affect recognition; contact support if eligibility appears incorrect.
Current prices are in US dollars: $48 per year for annual access, or $299 once for lifetime access. The advertised $4 monthly equivalent is billed as $48 annually, not as monthly installments. Applicable taxes, if collected, are shown separately before payment. The checkout total and accepted order control your purchase.
Annual access renews automatically each year until canceled. By separately authorizing recurring billing at purchase, you authorize Stripe to charge your selected payment method for the displayed annual amount and applicable tax. We will provide notice of any price change before it applies to renewal and obtain further consent where required. A purchase starts paid access when payment is confirmed; buying before a trial ends does not add unused trial days to the purchased period.
Lifetime access means access for the supported commercial life of InboxCabin, including updates we release for that product. It is not a promise of perpetual operation, permanent provider compatibility, or access to separate future products. It has no recurring subscription charge. We will provide reasonable advance notice if the product is discontinued, except where circumstances outside our control prevent it; mandatory legal remedies and express purchase promises remain available.
A failed renewal of a previously paid subscription receives a 14-day payment grace period. Retries do not restart that period. Afterward, paid app access may be restricted until payment is resolved. An initial unpaid purchase does not activate a license. Your underlying Gmail or Microsoft account remains accessible directly with its provider.
3. Cancellation, receipts and refunds
Cancel annual renewal online in My account → Manage billing. Cancellation normally stops the next renewal and preserves access through the paid period. Uninstalling the app or removing a computer does not cancel billing. The billing portal also provides available invoices, receipts and payment-method management. If you cannot access it, contact support before renewal and we will help.
Use the free trial to evaluate compatibility before buying. Except for a more favorable promise in your order or rights required by law, purchases are nonrefundable and we do not provide automatic prorated refunds for unused time. Contact support@inboxcabin.com for duplicate charges, technical problems or refund requests; we assess them individually and honor applicable consumer rights. A refund or payment reversal can revoke the associated entitlement. Nothing here removes statutory cancellation, withdrawal, warranty or refund rights.
4. Email providers and account security
InboxCabin displays Gmail and Microsoft webmail in separate local browser profiles. It is not an email host and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Google or Microsoft. You need your own provider accounts and any required provider subscriptions. Their terms, organization policies, MFA, sign-in restrictions, outages and product changes continue to apply. We do not bypass their security controls.
Session persistence, saved logins, profile images and unread counts are convenience features, not guarantees. Providers may require another sign-in or block a particular environment. Keep independent access to your mailbox and maintain appropriate backups. You are responsible for messages you send, files you open and your device security. External links and third-party sites have their own terms and privacy practices.
5. Licensing, updates and local data
The app needs internet access for initial trial/activation, periodic entitlement checks and webmail. Temporary offline license grants expire and cannot extend beyond the applicable entitlement or grace period. A removed computer may retain an already-issued grant for up to seven days. Removing it from your website account does not erase its local mail profiles or saved credentials.
Updates are designed to preserve existing local mailbox profiles and preferences. Device failures, provider sign-outs and other circumstances may require recovery or reauthentication. Update availability checks do not mean updates silently install or reboot your computer. Protect your Windows account, and do not send passwords, one-time codes or sign-in links to support. Data practices are described in our Privacy Policy.
6. Acceptable use and suspension
Do not use InboxCabin for unlawful conduct, malware, unauthorized access, interference with services or infringement of others’ rights. We may restrict service for material breach, fraud, nonpayment after the stated grace period, or a necessary security response. Where practicable we provide notice and an opportunity to resolve the issue. You may stop using the product at any time. Suspension does not give us ownership of your mailbox or remove mandatory legal rights.
7. Availability and warranties
TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, INBOXCABIN IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITHOUT IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE OR INVULNERABLE OPERATION, PERMANENT SIGN-IN, CONTINUOUS PROVIDER COMPATIBILITY OR RECOVERY OF LOST DRAFTS OR DATA. EXPRESS WRITTEN COMMITMENTS AND NON-WAIVABLE STATUTORY WARRANTIES REMAIN EFFECTIVE.
8. Limitation of liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, THE TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY OF INBOX CABIN, AND THE LICENSORS AND CONTRACTORS PROVIDING INBOXCABIN, FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING FROM OR RELATING TO THE SOFTWARE, WEBSITE, RELATED SERVICES OR THESE TERMS WILL NOT EXCEED THE TOTAL AMOUNT YOU ACTUALLY PAID FOR THE INBOXCABIN SOFTWARE LICENSE GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM. This is one combined cap; multiple incidents, claims or legal theories do not increase it. If you paid nothing, the cap is zero except where applicable law requires otherwise.
To the same lawful extent, these parties are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or punitive damages, including lost profits, business interruption, lost opportunities or loss of data, even if the possibility was known. The limits apply to contract, tort (including negligence) and other legal theories.
These provisions do not exclude liability or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded, including applicable consumer protections, fraud, intentional misconduct and other non-waivable liability. An unenforceable limitation applies only to the maximum lawful extent.
9. Changes and general provisions
We publish the effective date and version of revised Terms. Material contractual changes receive notice and renewed acceptance where required; merely updating a page does not erase prior purchase promises or mandatory rights. Your accepted order and these Terms form the agreement for the relevant service. If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions apply where lawful. This version imposes no mandatory arbitration, class-action waiver or exclusive foreign forum. Mandatory laws in your jurisdiction continue to apply.
10. Contact
Operator: Inbox Cabin, Colorado, United States. Questions, complaints, cancellation assistance and refund requests: support@inboxcabin.com. Contact us for an appropriate mailing address if you need to deliver a formal notice.
11. Optional referral program
These referral rules are part of these Terms of Use. Participation is optional and is not required to install, try or purchase InboxCabin. The program is offered to verified InboxCabin account holders who are at least 18, resident in the United States, and legally eligible to participate. You must provide accurate information and have permission to promote InboxCabin wherever you share a link.
11.1 Qualifying referrals and attribution
A qualifying referral is a genuinely new customer’s first successfully paid annual or lifetime purchase attributed to your valid InboxCabin referral link. The customer must not be you or an account under your control. Free trials, unpaid signups, renewals, duplicate purchases, self-referrals and purchases that are refunded or reversed do not qualify. There is only one reward per qualifying new customer.
Attribution is recorded when a new customer creates and verifies an account within 30 days of the first eligible referral visit, with the visitor’s consent. Once recorded on that account, attribution can apply to its later first paid purchase, including after the trial. A later referral link does not replace an existing valid first attribution. Declining tracking, browser privacy controls, cleared cookies, another browser or device, and an expired attribution window can prevent attribution. We honor Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control for new referral attribution. A referral click alone does not reserve a reward. Timestamped account, attribution and payment records determine eligibility; contact support if you believe a record is incorrect.
11.2 Rewards and the waiting period
For each qualifying referral you may choose either a $20 Amazon.com digital gift card or $25 in InboxCabin promotional account credit, not both. A provisional reward appears as Pending after the qualifying first payment. The 90-calendar-day waiting period starts at that payment, not at the click or trial signup. A Pending reward is not yet available to redeem. After 90 days and eligibility review, it becomes Available if the purchase remains valid. A documented fraud or payment review may delay availability. A successful reward selection is recorded as Claimed; delivery or credit application may still be pending.
Rewards are nontransferable and cannot be resold or exchanged for cash, except where law requires otherwise. There is no undisclosed numerical cap on genuine qualifying referrals. Any future limit will be published before it applies.
11.3 Gift card delivery
We aim to email an approved gift card within 48–72 hours after you claim an Available reward, subject to verification and operational availability. Fulfillment is handled manually using your verified account email. Keep that address accessible and contact support about delays or delivery problems. If fulfillment is delayed, we will provide a status update and work to complete it promptly. We retain a fulfillment reference, not the gift card’s redemption code.
Amazon is not a sponsor of, and does not endorse or administer, this program. Amazon.com gift cards are subject to Amazon’s gift card terms. Amazon’s trademarks belong to their respective owners.
11.4 Account credit
The credit option is available when your account has an eligible active paid annual subscription. A valid claim adds $25 to your noncash promotional wallet. Use the account controls to apply available credit to an eligible renewal; a wallet balance alone does not automatically apply it. The account shows the amount applied and any remaining balance. Credit does not change the renewal date, cancel renewal or eliminate amounts due above the applied credit. It cannot buy gift cards, transfer to another user or increase a cash refund. Lifetime users without an eligible annual renewal should choose the gift card option. Mandatory consumer and gift-card rights remain intact.
11.5 Honest recommendations and disclosure
Keep a clear, legible disclosure immediately beside your referral link. The supplied signature says: “Referral link — I may earn a $20 gift card or $25 InboxCabin credit if you buy.” Keep that disclosure when copying or adapting the signature. A disclosure hidden in a separate policy page or behind a link is not a substitute. Describe only features and experiences you can truthfully support; do not promise guaranteed earnings or imply that you represent InboxCabin.
Do not use spam, purchased email lists, unsolicited bulk messages, deceptive subject lines, bots, click farms, fake identities, forced redirects, misleading endorsements or artificial purchase schemes. Follow applicable law, your employer’s policies and email-provider rules. The app copies suggested signature content only when you choose; it does not automatically add a signature or send promotional messages. You decide where to paste it.
11.6 Fair review and abuse prevention
We may review attribution, account, device and billing records for objective signs of self-referral, common account control, shared payment instruments, duplicate purchases, manipulated traffic, stolen payment details, reversals or other abuse. A risk signal can prompt proportionate verification; it is not automatically proof of fraud. High numbers of genuine referrals, or a referrer’s good-faith billing complaint, are not by themselves grounds to deny legitimate rewards.
Acting reasonably and in good faith, we may delay a suspicious claim, deny an ineligible reward, correct erroneous unused credit, require correction of misleading promotion or suspend referral participation for material violations. Where practicable, we will explain a material decision and provide an opportunity to seek review at support@inboxcabin.com. We do not need access to your email bodies or recipient lists for referral review.
11.7 Refunds and reversals
A refund, chargeback or reversal of the referred customer’s qualifying purchase may invalidate that reward, including after the waiting period. We may cancel an unfulfilled reward or correct unused credit with an explanation. For a reward already delivered or used, any recovery or offset requires an individual review, a lawful basis such as fraud, error or reversal of the qualifying purchase, notice and an opportunity to dispute the decision. These rules do not authorize an automatic charge to your card or penalize a good-faith exercise of consumer rights.
11.8 Changes and ending the program
We may change future reward amounts, eligibility, timing or published limits, pause new participation, or end the program for legal, security or operational reasons. We will give reasonable advance notice of material changes where practicable. Changes apply prospectively to referrals first initiated after the announced effective date. Valid recorded referrals remain subject to the rules disclosed when initiated, including their waiting period and eligibility review. A budget change alone does not erase a legitimate reward. Invalid or fraudulent rewards remain reviewable.
11.9 Taxes and independence
You are responsible for taxes legally due on your rewards. We may request necessary tax information and issue reports when required by law. Participation does not create employment, agency or partnership, or authority to commit InboxCabin to obligations. The Privacy Policy describes referral records, consented tracking, reward fulfillment and retention. These referral-specific rules control any conflict concerning the program, subject to your accepted order and non-waivable legal rights.
12. Website and blog content
Our website and blog provide product information and general guidance. Check the current product description and accepted order for the features included in your purchase. Articles are not professional legal, financial or security advice. We own or license our original software, text, artwork and branding; third-party materials retain their owners’ rights. You may read and link to public pages and use content as permitted by law. These Terms do not grant permission to republish substantial content, impersonate InboxCabin or remove ownership notices. Contact support about corrections or suspected infringement.

Business name and future operator
Inbox Cabin is the operating business name used for the InboxCabin service; this name does not represent that a limited liability company has already been formed. We may later organize, rename, or transfer this business to a limited liability company or another successor operating the service and, to the extent permitted by law, assign this agreement and related rights and obligations to that successor. The successor must assume the applicable service obligations and honor existing paid access and privacy commitments. We will identify the successor and provide notice of a material operator change through the website, app, or account email before or when the change takes effect, as required by law. A change of operator alone does not authorize new charges, reduce existing purchased access, waive accrued claims, or permit materially different use of previously collected personal information. We will obtain renewed consent when legally required. Mandatory consumer rights and required business disclosures remain unaffected.
