INBOXCABIN · LEGAL

Terms and Conditions

Effective October 12, 2026 · Version 2026-10-12.3

These Terms govern the InboxCabin website, Windows software, account portal and licensing service. The operator is Eric Winegar, doing business as InboxCabin (“InboxCabin,” “we,” “us”).

Read these Terms before accepting them or purchasing. If you do not agree, do not purchase or use the software. You must be legally able to enter this agreement; if acting for an organization, you must have authority to bind it. Our Privacy Policy explains data handling.

1. Your software license

We grant a limited, nonexclusive, nontransferable license for lawful personal or internal business use while your trial or purchased entitlement is valid. Each purchased license permits up to 5 activated computers and unlimited mailbox profiles, subject to your hardware and provider restrictions. You may release a computer through My account. Do not resell keys, share them publicly, sublicense the software, bypass trial or activation controls, or access accounts without permission. Applicable law and third-party open-source licenses retain any rights they grant.

2. Trial, plans and automatic renewal

The trial begins when the Windows app first successfully registers that device with our licensing service and lasts 30 days. No credit card is required and the trial does not automatically become a paid subscription. Reinstalling or downloading again does not restart the recorded trial. Device or Windows changes can affect recognition; contact support if eligibility appears incorrect.

Current prices are in US dollars: $48 per year for annual access, or $299 once for lifetime access. The advertised $4 monthly equivalent is billed as $48 annually, not as monthly installments. Applicable taxes, if collected, are shown separately before payment. The checkout total and accepted order control your purchase.

Annual access renews automatically each year until canceled. By separately authorizing recurring billing at purchase, you authorize Stripe to charge your selected payment method for the displayed annual amount and applicable tax. We will provide notice of any price change before it applies to renewal and obtain further consent where required. A purchase starts paid access when payment is confirmed; buying before a trial ends does not add unused trial days to the purchased period.

Lifetime access means access for the supported commercial life of InboxCabin, including updates we release for that product. It is not a promise of perpetual operation, permanent provider compatibility, or access to separate future products. It has no recurring subscription charge. We will provide reasonable advance notice if the product is discontinued, except where circumstances outside our control prevent it; mandatory legal remedies and express purchase promises remain available.

A failed renewal of a previously paid subscription receives a 14-day payment grace period. Retries do not restart that period. Afterward, paid app access may be restricted until payment is resolved. An initial unpaid purchase does not activate a license. Your underlying Gmail or Microsoft account remains accessible directly with its provider.

3. Cancellation, receipts and refunds

Cancel annual renewal online in My account → Manage billing. Cancellation normally stops the next renewal and preserves access through the paid period. Uninstalling the app or removing a computer does not cancel billing. The billing portal also provides available invoices, receipts and payment-method management. If you cannot access it, contact support before renewal and we will help.

Use the free trial to evaluate compatibility before buying. Except for a more favorable promise in your order or rights required by law, purchases are nonrefundable and we do not provide automatic prorated refunds for unused time. Contact support@inboxcabin.com for duplicate charges, technical problems or refund requests; we assess them individually and honor applicable consumer rights. A refund or payment reversal can revoke the associated entitlement. Nothing here removes statutory cancellation, withdrawal, warranty or refund rights.

4. Email providers and account security

InboxCabin displays Gmail and Microsoft webmail in separate local browser profiles. It is not an email host and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Google or Microsoft. You need your own provider accounts and any required provider subscriptions. Their terms, organization policies, MFA, sign-in restrictions, outages and product changes continue to apply. We do not bypass their security controls.

Session persistence, saved logins, profile images and unread counts are convenience features, not guarantees. Providers may require another sign-in or block a particular environment. Keep independent access to your mailbox and maintain appropriate backups. You are responsible for messages you send, files you open and your device security. External links and third-party sites have their own terms and privacy practices.

5. Licensing, updates and local data

The app needs internet access for initial trial/activation, periodic entitlement checks and webmail. Temporary offline license grants expire and cannot extend beyond the applicable entitlement or grace period. A removed computer may retain an already-issued grant for up to seven days. Removing it from your website account does not erase its local mail profiles or saved credentials.

Updates are designed to preserve existing local mailbox profiles and preferences. Device failures, provider sign-outs and other circumstances may require recovery or reauthentication. Update availability checks do not mean updates silently install or reboot your computer. Protect your Windows account, and do not send passwords, one-time codes or sign-in links to support. Data practices are described in our Privacy Policy.

6. Acceptable use and suspension

Do not use InboxCabin for unlawful conduct, malware, unauthorized access, interference with services or infringement of others’ rights. We may restrict service for material breach, fraud, nonpayment after the stated grace period, or a necessary security response. Where practicable we provide notice and an opportunity to resolve the issue. You may stop using the product at any time. Suspension does not give us ownership of your mailbox or remove mandatory legal rights.

7. Availability and warranties

TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, INBOXCABIN IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITHOUT IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE OR INVULNERABLE OPERATION, PERMANENT SIGN-IN, CONTINUOUS PROVIDER COMPATIBILITY OR RECOVERY OF LOST DRAFTS OR DATA. EXPRESS WRITTEN COMMITMENTS AND NON-WAIVABLE STATUTORY WARRANTIES REMAIN EFFECTIVE.

8. Limitation of liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, THE TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY OF ERIC WINEGAR, DOING BUSINESS AS INBOXCABIN, AND THE LICENSORS AND CONTRACTORS PROVIDING INBOXCABIN, FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING FROM OR RELATING TO THE SOFTWARE, WEBSITE, RELATED SERVICES OR THESE TERMS WILL NOT EXCEED THE TOTAL AMOUNT YOU ACTUALLY PAID FOR THE INBOXCABIN SOFTWARE LICENSE GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM. This is one combined cap; multiple incidents, claims or legal theories do not increase it. If you paid nothing, the cap is zero except where applicable law requires otherwise.

To the same lawful extent, these parties are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or punitive damages, including lost profits, business interruption, lost opportunities or loss of data, even if the possibility was known. The limits apply to contract, tort (including negligence) and other legal theories.

These provisions do not exclude liability or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded, including applicable consumer protections, fraud, intentional misconduct and other non-waivable liability. An unenforceable limitation applies only to the maximum lawful extent.

9. Changes and general provisions

We publish the effective date and version of revised Terms. Material contractual changes receive notice and renewed acceptance where required; merely updating a page does not erase prior purchase promises or mandatory rights. Your accepted order and these Terms form the agreement for the relevant service. If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions apply where lawful. This version imposes no mandatory arbitration, class-action waiver or exclusive foreign forum. Mandatory laws in your jurisdiction continue to apply.
