Software Installation and Use Agreement
Effective October 13, 2026 · Version 2026-10-13.2
These terms are between you and Inbox Cabin ("InboxCabin," "we," or "us"). Read this agreement, the Terms of Use and the Privacy Policy before accepting in setup or selecting Accept and continue in the app. The Terms of Use, including the optional referral rules, form part of this agreement. The Privacy Policy explains data handling; acknowledging it does not authorize optional tracking or marketing. If you act for a business, you confirm that you may bind it. If you disagree, cancel setup or select Decline and exit and do not use the software. Starting a trial or installing the app does not enroll you in referrals or authorize a payment.
1. Your license
We grant you a limited, nonexclusive, nontransferable license to use InboxCabin for lawful personal or internal business purposes during your trial or purchased entitlement. A purchased license supports up to five activated computers unless your order expressly states otherwise. You may release computers through your account. You may not resell, sublicense, distribute unauthorized copies, bypass licensing, or misuse another person's account. Reverse engineering restrictions apply only to the extent allowed by law; third-party and open-source licenses retain their own rights.
2. Email providers and your accounts
InboxCabin displays third-party webmail in separate local browser profiles. Google, Microsoft and other providers operate their own services and impose their own terms, authentication, security and availability requirements. We do not control their changes, outages, account restrictions, forced sign-outs or sign-in compatibility. Persistent sign-in and unread indicators are convenience features, not guarantees. Maintain independent access to your mail through the provider. You remain responsible for your messages, attachments, backups, account security and decisions based on displayed information. External website links open in your default browser and are governed by those sites' terms.
3. Trial and payment
The introductory trial lasts 30 days, subject to eligibility checks. Reinstallation does not create a new trial. No payment obligation arises from starting a trial without separately authorizing a purchase. Your checkout describes the price, billing period, taxes, renewal and refund terms before you pay. Recurring billing requires your separate affirmative authorization. You may cancel renewal through your account; cancellation does not erase any mandatory refund rights. Failed renewals of previously paid subscriptions receive a 14-day grace period before paid access is restricted. A lifetime offer, if purchased, means access for the supported commercial life of this product, not a promise that the product or third-party services will exist forever. No provision changes a more favorable express promise made in your order.
4. Local data, licensing and updates
Mailbox sessions and browser-saved login data are kept in the application's local Windows profile storage. Optional cloud backup can include logins you manually save in InboxCabin and mailbox settings. Its preference starts enabled, but no backup is uploaded until you connect your verified website account and save a recovery key. The app encrypts the backup locally; our server does not receive your recovery key. Browser cookies, active sessions, messages, attachments and browser-saved passwords are not included. Restoring may require provider sign-in and MFA. Email authentication alone cannot decrypt a backup. Turning backup off pauses uploads; it does not delete an existing cloud copy. Contact support for deletion. See the accompanying Privacy Policy for details. Protect your Windows account and device. The licensing service processes a device identifier, activation and entitlement information to enforce trial eligibility and the ten-computer limit. The service periodically checks licenses and available updates. Website sign-in uses emailed links; do not share those links. We do not require you to send us your mailbox passwords. Provider websites process information according to their own privacy policies. Consult https://inboxcabin.com/privacy/ for the complete data practices. Updates may change functionality or require acceptance of revised terms. Material contractual changes require notice and a new acceptance; continued use is not a substitute for renewed consent where required by law.
5. Availability and warranties
TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, THE SOFTWARE AND RELATED SERVICES ARE SUPPLIED AS AVAILABLE, WITHOUT IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT PROMISE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE OR INVULNERABLE OPERATION, CONTINUOUS PROVIDER COMPATIBILITY, PERMANENT SIGN-IN, OR RECOVERY OF LOST DRAFTS OR DATA. EXPRESS WRITTEN COMMITMENTS AND NON-WAIVABLE STATUTORY WARRANTIES REMAIN EFFECTIVE.
6. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, THE TOTAL COMBINED LIABILITY OF INBOX CABIN AND ITS LICENSORS, EMPLOYEES AND CONTRACTORS FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING FROM OR RELATING TO INBOXCABIN, ITS SOFTWARE, RELATED SERVICES OR THESE TERMS SHALL NOT EXCEED THE TOTAL AMOUNT YOU ACTUALLY PAID FOR THE INBOXCABIN SOFTWARE LICENSE GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM. THIS IS ONE AGGREGATE CAP; MULTIPLE CLAIMS, INCIDENTS OR LEGAL THEORIES DO NOT INCREASE IT. IF YOU HAVE PAID NOTHING, THAT CAP IS ZERO, EXCEPT WHERE APPLICABLE LAW REQUIRES OTHERWISE.
TO THE SAME EXTENT, THESE PARTIES WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOST PROFITS, LOST BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES, BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, OR LOSS OF DATA, EVEN IF THE POSSIBILITY WAS KNOWN. THESE LIMITS APPLY WHETHER A CLAIM SOUNDS IN CONTRACT, TORT (INCLUDING NEGLIGENCE) OR OTHERWISE.
NOTHING IN THESE TERMS EXCLUDES OR LIMITS LIABILITY OR A REMEDY THAT CANNOT LAWFULLY BE EXCLUDED OR LIMITED, INCLUDING APPLICABLE CONSUMER RIGHTS, FRAUD, INTENTIONAL MISCONDUCT, OR OTHER NON-WAIVABLE LIABILITY. ANY LIMIT FOUND UNENFORCEABLE APPLIES ONLY TO THE MAXIMUM LAWFUL EXTENT. THIS SECTION DOES NOT AUTHORIZE UNLAWFUL CONDUCT.
7. Suspension and termination
You may stop using and uninstall the software at any time. We may restrict access for nonpayment after the stated grace period, material breach, fraud, or a reasonably necessary security response. Where practicable, we will give notice and an opportunity to resolve the issue. Termination does not transfer ownership of your mail to us or cancel rights provided by law. Keep access to your provider account independently of InboxCabin.
8. Optional referrals
Referral participation is optional and is available only where the Terms of Use offer it. Eligible US adults can choose a $20 Amazon.com gift card or $25 InboxCabin credit per qualifying new paid customer after the 90-day waiting period and eligibility review. Trials alone do not earn rewards. Credit requires an eligible annual renewal. Gift-card fulfillment is targeted within 48–72 hours after an available reward is claimed. Keep the supplied reward disclosure next to your referral link, do not send spam, and follow the full referral rules in the accompanying Terms of Use. The app does not automatically modify email signatures or send referral messages. Sharing and claiming are separate choices; installing or accepting this software agreement does not commit you to participate.
9. General terms and contact
These terms and your accepted order describe the software agreement. Mandatory laws in your jurisdiction continue to apply. If a clause is invalid, the remaining clauses remain effective where lawful. No mandatory arbitration, class-action waiver or exclusive foreign forum is imposed by this version. Questions, complaints and refund requests may be sent to support@inboxcabin.com.

These documents share version 2026-10-13.2. An accepted order and mandatory legal rights take precedence over an inconsistent general provision. The referral-specific rules govern referral activity. This agreement governs installation and software use. Material changes require notice and renewed acceptance where required.
Business name and future operator
Inbox Cabin is the operating business name used for the InboxCabin service; this name does not represent that a limited liability company has already been formed. We may later organize, rename, or transfer this business to a limited liability company or another successor operating the service and, to the extent permitted by law, assign this agreement and related rights and obligations to that successor. The successor must assume the applicable service obligations and honor existing paid access and privacy commitments. We will identify the successor and provide notice of a material operator change through the website, app, or account email before or when the change takes effect, as required by law. A change of operator alone does not authorize new charges, reduce existing purchased access, waive accrued claims, or permit materially different use of previously collected personal information. We will obtain renewed consent when legally required. Mandatory consumer rights and required business disclosures remain unaffected.
